Packaged in clear plastic (OPA, 670) bags, in cardboard cases (A4 size). Packed in a protective atmosphere (nitrogen flush). Palletised with 60 cases per pallet, 10 cases per layer, 6 layers per pallet. The packaging is recyclable (cardboard) but currently not recycled plastic. The product complies with relevant UK and EU legislation for food, hygiene, weights, and measures.

Appearance: Matchstick-shaped, 6mm, evenly blended pale white/off yellow. Texture: Firm, well-knit. Flavour: Typical, clean, free from off or foreign taints. The pH is around 5.3, with moisture content approximately 45%. Microbiological standards are rigorous, ensuring safety and quality with no Salmonella or Listeria detected in 25g samples. Nutritional content includes 330 kcal per 100g, 25.6g protein, 24.8g fat, and 1.4g salt.
